Ricardo is a global engineering, strategic and environmental consultancy. They were founded by Sir Harry Ricardo in 1915 and still share his vision for maximising efficiency and eliminating waste. City Signs were approached as Ricardo required a full replacement of their signage to coincide with their rebranding from Lloyd’s Register Rail to the new name.
The signage for the rebranding involved City Signs carrying out several stages to complete the project.
- We carried out the initial design components
- We submitted the planning applications to the local authority
- All the old signage was then removed
- The manufacture of the new signage then commenced
- The new external signage was then installed at the companies premises in Derby
- Finally we installed all the stainless steel internal signs
The signs installation…
The project started with our installation team working on the scaffolding to affix the Fabricated aluminium pantray with white LED’s to provide a striking lighting effect in low light.
Once the aluminium pantray was in place the built-up stainless steel rim-and-return letters were installed.
The finished sign displays the companies new logo in all it’s glory giving the premises real identity.
The job didn’t stop there, the next sign to be installed was a smaller version of the front sign, this was applied to the reverse of the building.
Then to finish things up the internal and external stainless steel signs were installed throughout the building.
